MOAM #36 – If a postcard falls and no one is around to hear it, did it really happen?

destination: nowhere. Unless you want it, in which case, let me know.

I had a clever idea. It was brilliant, actually. No, really, it was brilliant. Then when I put it together, well, I made a hash of it. Don’t judge me! It never happens to me, it must have been the alcohol. I’m really sorry,  I didn’t mean to mess up your postcard like that.

It’s a really nice card. I love this Titian portrait. But, after I was done with it, I couldn’t send it out. Unless you want it, in which case send me an email and let me know what your address is and I’ll send it to you.

  1. Remember doing a paint-by-numbers, where you accidentally paint the wrong number, so you try to fix it by either painting the right colour in there, or painting other wrong ones, but then you realise it looks worse, so then you try to paint other colours in the other numbers, and by the end of it you just tear up the whole thing in frustration?

Well, that's sort of what happened here. I didn't stick the soduku puzzle onto the card in the best way, which meant I couldn't write anywhere around it, and when I tried it was the wrong pen, so I tried to erase it, and it smudged, and …

I agree it's not horrible, but it didn't pass the test of one that I would feel happy sending out.
